Well, hello there! I have been so busy with work (that will happen when your boss gets super sick and you have to do two jobs in one day) and I haven't been able to sit down and enjoy my blogs company. It's pretty late and I should be in bed but I've been missing writing here so I thought I'd do things a little different today since I haven't been doing anything that interesting anyway (unless you want to hear about what the walls in my office look like).I thought it may be a good time to discuss my dislikes and likes. Below you will find 3 things I love and 3 things I really dislike. I feel like when I read other blogs I get a good sense of what the author is about and I often tend to try new things if others rave about it- so here's my attempt to get to know you better and maybe you'll give something I like a try?! Maybe-okay, well here we go...
LOVES
I love coffee creamer. I mean, I LOVE coffee but I also love creamer in my coffee. More specifically, I love Shoprite brand fat free French Vanilla or Hazelnut coffee creamer in my coffee. I *try* to limit myself to one coffee in the morning and trust me, you don't want to know me before I've had it. I pretty much started drinking coffee as soon as I could pronounce the word and haven't stopped since. I remember having a coffee cup when I was about 3 years old that had my name on it and my dad and I would drink "angel" coffee together. "Angel" coffee was pretty much a mug of milk with a splash of coffee but I loved it. The creamer is a new thing but now I don't complete my shopping list without a bottle (usually two) on it.
I love this women! I love the singer, songwritier, rockstar goddess, clothes designer that is Gwen Stefani! Every since No Doubts single "Just a Girl" came out, I couldn't get enough of Gwen and No Doubt. I've been to concerts, buy her $40 tee shirts, wear her perfume, hang her posters on my wall- hell, I have her freakin barbies displayed in my living room people! I love gwen Stefani. If I could reccomend just two songs to listen to (this is hard), to those new to this women and No Dount I would say try:No Doubt: " Sunday Morning"
Gwen Steafni "solo": "Wonderful Life"
Apple Cider.(Not to be confused with Apple Juice) This yummy substance gives me just one more reason to look forward to fall in NY. I pretty much drink about a gallon every 3 days in October and November. Even though it's in the stores all year round, it's a fall drink becuase that's when it tastes best. I like to heat it up and drink it warm before bed and in the morning, when it's tempting to want to just stay under the warm covers. I miss it in the summer, but it's just not the same as drinking it in the fall. It's kind of like getting excited when Starbucks releases their holiday flavored coffee for Oct., Nov. and Dec.- it gives me something to look forward too when the weather starts to cool in NY. DISLIKES
Spaghettios. Is it hard to make spaghetti?!-no. So why buy it in a can? The pre cooked pasta is mushy and the sauce tastes like aluminum. The hot smell of Spaghettios wafting through the air automatcially gets my gag reflex quivering. Let's not even get started on the meatballs- I really... I'm starting to feel sick- I have to stop now.
Rebublicans. That doesn't mean I don't like you if you are one. I love to hear about others point of view and respect peoples choices and convictions but that's the thing about Rebublicans...they usually don't respect others convitions (or they tend to dismiss them). If one more Rebublican calls me a "liberal" like it's a bad thing, or rolls their eyes at me when I defend Gays rights to marry; I may just have to scream. I could go on and on but as always, I'll keep an open mind but I can't help being childish when I see a car trying to move into my lane while driving and get a glance of their "PALIN" bumper sticker and speed up so they can't move in and they miss their turn. Bad- I know. It's just my silly revenge for the "eye rolls I get after saying "I voted for Obama and think everyone has a right to healthcare".
Sushi! What the hell people?! Really?! I don't get why every damn sushi place is packed out when I drive by. Are they serving me something different when I try it ? Are you not eating raw fish? Is it not slimy when it slides down your throat? I don't get how people "crave" raw fish. Every few months I forget how gross sushi is to me and I decide to give it another try. I usually end up $40 poorer, hungry and grossed out. Why spend so much money on UNCOOKEd food when I could get the deliciousness of the picture below for around $6.

So there you have it. Now you know a little more about me and you may never want to see me again. Maybe I offended one of your "loves"?! I'm always willing to try things a million times( I don't learn from my mistakes until like the 5th time around or so) and maybe I'm missing the one sushi roll that's awesome or maybe Spaghettios takes awesome when you sprinkle chinese five spice on it or something ( I doubt anything could save that mess though)...if you think i haven't given something a good chance- let me know. Of course, I'll ask you to give one of my "Loves" a chance too.
Night all. XO.
