My week started off quite well...I was able to squeeze lunch in with the BF at my favorite little Mexican place and it didn't disappoint! I ate my burrito with moles sauce too fast to get a pic but this yummy picture was a little complimentary treat they gave us at the end of our meal. It was some sort of warm rice cake with a raspberry compote. I've searched for more info on it but can't find anything on Mexican Rice Cake- otherwise I would make it myself! I hope it's not the last time me and this cake meet cause I feel we were destined to be together! 
I'm getting ready to go on vacation soon *SQUEE* and I'm very excited but unfortunately I have found myself with a nasty case of plane/flying anxiety. It started when I was about 12 or so after a bumpy flight in a thunderstorm. Since then, I'm tense the whole flight and starting the week before a trip. This explains why I haven't been on a plane since 2007. My desire to travel trumps my fear of flying but I still don't make the situation easy on myself. For the last 3 nights I can't sleep and my stomach feels like butterflies had babies while simultaneously doing cartwheels. I have been practicing some relaxation techniques but I think it's gonna be a "just bear with it" situation for the few hours I'm on the plane. Ugh- what a horrible feeling! Fortunately the pay off is worth the fear.
I've been playing with my web cam at work cause well, hey- a girl has to know how she looks right?! Above is my $8 Lauren Conrad dress I got from Kohls. It's fun and colorful for spring and it only cost $8 so-yeah-can't really complain.
In New York last weekend it was 70 degrees. Yesterday...we had 2 inches of snow. March is a month of spring dresses and Northface jackets. This sweater was pretty much the only one I hadn't packed away yet. I'm not really a fan of grey but the cut of the sweater makes up for it.
Yes, I know this is a picture of Kate Middleton but the other day when I snapped a photo of my Chaps dress I couldn't help but see some sort resemblance (in the dresses of course-just want to be clear on that-lol)
I usually don't dress like royalty at work but in my defense we had a newsreporter visiting.
Other things I did this week:
Go to a wake for a friends dad- Celebrate my BF's birthday
- Get ready for a baby shower on Sunday
- Buy clothes for trip
- Book a Bikini Wax- why do we do these things do ourselves?!?!
- Get my hair dyed
- Play lots of Scrabble on my Kindle
- Eat a whole box of Mike & Ike's by myself
